Judge Vasquez has fulfilled the promises of her last campaign and brought more transparency to her bench - but there is still work to be done. As Judge of Probate Court 2, she will bring further transparency to the court by publishing even more guides about probate and guardianship law and continuing to uphold standards for attorneys fees to combat favoritism.
Judge Vasquez has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making her court more accessible. She spearheaded a construction project at the Bexar County Courthouse to make it easier to access, and she worked with the county to draft HB 1447 (a bill that would allow the continuation of virtual proceedings after the pandemic) that passed in the Texas House.
